Receiving and offering\u2014this is what we are doing each time we inhale and exhale. To do so with conscious awareness, on a regular basis, is the transformative practice we call Zen. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In the simplest form, Zen is a way of being peaceful and compassionate towards all things.<\/strong><\/div>\n
         <\/em><\/span><\/div>\n
Zen is both something we are<\/em>\u2014<\/span>our true nature expressing itself moment by moment<\/span><\/div>\n
and something we do<\/em>\u2014a disciplined practice through which we can realize the joy of being.<\/span><\/div>\n
\n


\nThe practice of zazen<\/strong> (meditation)\u2014is a way of realizing the non-dualistic,  interconnected nature of all life. It guides us to release negativity and fear and it helps us to focus on positive thoughts and actions.  Allowing a path for a more balanced way of everyday life.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
